It Was The Bee's Knees.......
1920's Dinner On the Grounds and All That Jazz Was Quite the Buzz!
The weather was perfect and the event was enjoyed by all! From the Teague High School Jazz Band, the Lil' Miss 1920's Contestants, demonstration of Croquet On a Lazy Afternoon and Fairfield History Club Members in Period Dress, the 1920's were represented well!

Moody Bradley-House Invasion!
April showers may bring May flowers, but they can also bring.......BEES! Of course, bees are our friends, unless they take up residence in your walls. When coming to work early one April morning, Tracie Carter heard a strange buzzing sound outside, and opened the hallway door to find a swarm of bees settling into the Moody-Bradley House! Thousands and thousands of them! Luckily Melinda Sheffield, bee exractor extraordinaire, was available to remove and relocate the invaders. After cutting a sizable hole in the siding of the building, she was able to remove the critters with an amazing number of honeycombs. In the blink of an eye, they were gone and the repair work on the siding completed.

Annual Dinner for Eight!
This year's Dinner for Eight was a fabulous success and enjoyed by all! The winner and guests of their choice were served an Italian "Taste of Italy" and expressed not only their enjoyment of the cuisine but also of the ambience and historical setting! Kudos to chefs Lisa Tate and Mandie Judd! Looking forward to Dinner for Eight 2026!
